The Journey Forward
The Journey Forward is a five year focus (2010-2015), during which we will equip our church family for the ministry God wants to do through us well into the future. We have identified four challenging areas where we believe what we do now can make a big difference tomorrow. They are: stewardship, ministry, discipleship and outreach. And to keep us on task, we have set some goals in these areas to help us measure how we are doing.
Four Challenges for The Journey Forward
The Stewardship Challenge – Save for what we need and reduce our debts (Northside is saving 1 million toward a Student Center
The Ministry Challenge – Move from being a consumer to a servant.
The Discipleship Challenge – Join a Community Group, grow in God’s Word and live more like Jesus.
The Outreach Challenge – Share Jesus with others by “planting” and “watering” the seed of His good news (1 Corinthians 3:6).
